Why I Created This Retreat

There was a time in my life when all of this sounded impossible. I didn't have a clue who I really was! I knew something big was stirring inside of me, and my life was important and had a purpose, but how to connect with that was a mystery to me. As for hearing from heaven... I was so frustrated whenever I heard anyone say, 'God said...' like as though they could have a conversation with Him. I figured it must have been for special people to hear from Him, but not for me.
Have you ever felt like that before... like hearing His voice and seeing
the promises of God in your life are for people other than yourself?
Or perhaps you know that the promises are yours, but you just can't figure out how to get them to manifest in your life?

I had lived such a limited life, not sure how to release what I felt inside of me. I'd heard people teach about the principles of the Kingdom of God, but without really describing their practical application - giving me hope without the hands on. I knew God had given His people promises, but I just couldn't figure out how to get them from knowledge to reality, and why nothing changed in my life. I felt helpless and hopeless. I just wanted to live the wide-open, spacious life I knew the Lord had promised me, but I was at a loss of how to do that.

The one thing I did know in the depth of my heart, was that my answer had to be in God.
And you know what? It was! At the time that I cried out to Him, I was in depression, wondering how on earth I was going to live what was inside of me, and how to connect with Him. Yet He rescued me, loved me, took my hand, and showed me what my wide-open spacious life looked like. Nothing has been the same again.

It has been the most amazing journey with Holy Spirit as He has reached into my life and unlocked my heart.
Since beginning this journey with Him, He's delivered me from depression, given me a future and a hope, painted a picture of my purpose and shown me the treasure that He has planted in my heart. He's taught me how to walk in His healing and deliverance from emotional pain, and to live out of my new man. I now know how to hear His voice (and I'm the one saying, 'God said...' all the time), and connect to His heart. In the midst of all this, I discovered something very important, which was the key to this turnaround in my life.
Everything we experience in our lives is a result of what is
going on in our hearts.
If we want to experience the Kingdom of God in our lives, we first have to align our hearts with the Kingdom of God. It's when we begin the journey of doing this that God can show us, as He did me, the lies we are believing which are keeping us bound and restricted, and replace them with the truth which releases His promises into our lives.
God is not hiding His strategies from His people. He wants us to walk in victory on every side. When you allow Him to uncover this for you, you'll feel the same amazement I did as I discovered that when I changed my heart, it changed my life. I know who I am, I know who He is, I know what I'm called to do, and I know that I can do it through His life in me. And He wants to reveal the same truths to you. You see, in my journey as a coach, I've talked with a lot of female believers and have realised that my story isn't usually that different from their own.

I've discovered that most women don't know, or struggle to believe,
the value and treasure that is inside of them. Most women don't know why they are here, or how to connect with the heart of God.
They just don't realise how much they are loved by God and what He has placed inside of them and how much of a blessing their treasure is to others. The world needs what is inside of YOU! Holy Spirit wants to invite you on a journey to discover the magnitude of the value and worth you carry. He wants to bring you into the purpose that only you can fulfil. And He wants to speak to your heart, love on you, lead you and guide you into the amazing life that He has laid up for you.
He wants you to allow Him to reach into you and unlock your heart, because He knows that when your heart changes, your life changes.

I consider it the greatest privilege to walk beside women, to help them discover the intimacy of connecting with His heart and hearing His whispers in the secret place, and the adventure of living out their identity and purpose. I love to share with you practical strategies and tools for how to actually influence our heart and live in the Kingdom of God, because I want to want you to live in the joy of your wide-open, spacious life, and I want the world to be able to partake of the treasure that is within you.
We Need What God Has Put Inside of You
Inside you is a treasure chest of glory, placed there by God Himself. The world needs what God has put inside of you. There's something only you can be and do on this earth. Your life is a vital part of God's bigger picture. He is looking for those who will come to Him and learn how to live in the fullness of Christ within them, because He wants the true face of Christ to be known by the world, and He wants to bring us victory on every side of our lives. With victory comes the display of the Kingdom of God on this earth, and the transformation of the nations. We get to be part of this as we allow His Kingdom to flow through an unlocked heart.

What Does it Cost?
Basic Costs of the Weekend
Each participant is to cover the basic costs of the weekend, such as accommodation, linen hire, food, administrative costs and printed resources. The basic costs to run this retreat will be $550 per person, and this is to be paid prior to the retreat. It will begin with a $100 deposit, to reserve your place at the retreat. You can then pay whatever amounts you want and at whatever frequency you decide to make, to complete the total of $550 in payments by the time of the retreat. A link will be e-mailed to you upon registration.

Please note, this $550 is ONLY covering what it actually costs us financially to run the retreat, and the Currency of Honour contribution (below) is part of your cost for attending.
Currency of Honour Contribution
The basic costs do not include financial contribution towards the time in running the retreat, the value of what is taught and learned which can be applied to your life, the resources we'll be sharing, or coaching and prayer ministry. The Kingdom of God is about giving and receiving, and it functions on a currency of honour. It is our privilege to honour you by giving freely of our time, energy, and the knowledge, that has come from our journey. Therefore, we simply ask that either during or within an agreed period after the retreat, you sow the amount that you have purposed in your heart (see 2 Cor 9:7) to freely give towards this. This is an opportunity to honour others as you would have them honour you. Your contribution also enables us to grow our impact in the nation and the lives of others (for example, furthering publishing projects).

Please note: This is a retreat for women only.
Should I do this retreat before other retreats?
The Life Unlocked retreat is Unlocked Coaching's foundational retreat, and it's all about the Kingdom in your heart. It's purpose is to prepare your heart to live in victory on every side. Everything that happens in our lives flows through the beliefs of our heart. It's only when you know how to continually expand the capacity of your heart to experience the life of Christ within you that you will see this victory manifest in your finances, business, health, relationships and ministry. Therefore, we certainly recommend attending a Life Unlocked retreat, before attending other retreats.
How many women will be attending this retreat?
The retreats are purposefully kept small, to ensure privacy and personal attention. This retreat requires a minimum of 8 participants and has a maximum of 10 participants.
Can I invite a friend or create a retreat just for my friends and I?
Yes absolutely, you can invite a friend to register along with you. You can also gather a group of 8 - 10 friends and we can work together to create a retreat specifically for the women you know and love.
What if I want to share a room with a friend?
We welcome friends sharing together. If you register your tickets together online, you will automatically be placed together. If you register your tickets separately, simply request the name/s of who you want to share with during the registration checkout process (in the comments and questions box). The accommodation available includes a mix of single and queen bed rooms. You will need to designate which bed type you prefer when you register.
Where will the retreat be taking place?
We will be staying at the beautiful Bunya Mountains, near Kingaroy QLD. Our accommodation will be at Bunya Mountains Lodge. This beautiful house has gorgeous views over the rainforest, with large decks for relaxing, and a fireplace for cozy evenings during the cooler weather. How will I prepare for the weekend?
After registering, you will receive a link to the Unlock My Heart Coaching Questionnaire by e-mail, which contains resources to help you connect with Jesus and prepare your heart for what He wants to do in you at the retreat. There is a coaching questionnaire you will be asked to return beforehand, which which help both you and your coach to identify what's going on in your heart and your life, and what you want to get out of the weekend. This will ensure that we make the most of our time together while at the retreat. You will also receive information by e-mail about what to bring.
How do I register for the retreat?
All you need to do is click on one of the Register Now buttons on this page, and you will be taken to the registration page. Simply complete the page and checkout, paying your $100 deposit. You will receive a link to download the questionnaire, which we asked to be returned at least 14 days prior to the retreat.
What time does the retreat start?
We have discovered we need a little bit more time to accomplish what we feel is important for the retreat. This year we will be requesting participants arrive at 2pm on the first day, so that we have a full 48 hours together.
What if the dates available do not suit me? Will you be offering other retreats?
If the date/s that are available do not suit you, there will be more retreat offerings in the future, with one more Life Unlocked Retreat in 2005 anticipated at the end of May (outside of a privately organised group retreat). Other types of retreat (such as Business Unlocked and Wellness Unlocked) are in consideration if there is interest in them. If you would like to be notified of upcoming retreats, or to input into the dates chosen for future retreats, simply put your name down on the relevant waiting lists on the Retreats page.
What if I register and then cannot attend?
If for some reason you find that you cannot attend the retreat, your deposit (and any additional payments) can be applied to a future retreat, as long as at least 14 days notice is given. If notice of cancellation is given inside of 14 days (other than for extenuating circumstances such as a medical situation), and the position can not be filled by someone else in that timeframe, you will forfeit your deposit, but any further payments made towards the retreat can be applied to a future retreat (they will not be reimbursed). If you find someone else to assign your place to, this can be arranged at any point before the retreat, without loss of deposit or payments.
Please note: We receive participants into retreats according to their willingness and commitment to grow, as we are investing our time into our lives. We reserve the right to suggest another form of journey (such as book or online course) first, if we're not fully satisfied that someone is fully committed to their own growth journey.
