The Wisdom to Live a Royal Life

God is taking us to a new place. It's a higher place of living... and for those whose hearts are united to His, this means that we go where His Spirit is going. We don't lag behind and we don't run ahead, but where He is, our hearts are also. And for us to step into the next things Holy Spirit is wanting to do and bring, we need to walk in His wisdom for royal living. In fact, I would go so far as to say that if we don't receive and walk in this, we won't understand or have the capacity for the next things He wants to show us, because His wisdom to live royally is the foundation on which He is going to expand His Kingdom on this earth, and build the things to come.

If we are submitted to His Spirit, we go where He is going... no matter how unbelievable it looks! It is very big on the Father's heart at the moment, that we know the truth about our royal identity and the life He has made available. There is a form of living that He is inviting us into, which many of us have never seen functioning before. Yet it's already ours and simply requires a willingness to see with Father's eyes, to believe it and step into it. It's essentially an invitation into limitless living. It's a life that only His children can live, and it's designed to cause the world to stop and look at our King in us!

Living a Life Which Causes the World to Look

The royal identity and way of living that God is offering to us is actually so profoundly different to that of the world… so astonishing and beautiful to behold… that it causes the world to stop and look! It causes your neighbours to come to you when they need prayer in an area of their life because they know you know the One who can help them. It causes your competitors to wonder how on earth you do what you do in business and to try to work it out. It causes your children's friends to want to hang out at your place. It causes other women to ask you how your house is run with such order and how it looks so beautiful. It causes your friends to seek out your wisdom about how you get so much done, and how you live from a place of peace regardless of circumstances. It causes members of your community to seek you and your counsel and to be drawn and influenced by your words and wisdom. It causes even your enemies to wonder how you can stay calm and not become bitter or moved by their accusations. It causes people to stop what they are doing and look at you because the manifestation of wisdom that is flowing out of you is so distinctly different that they just can’t figure out how you’re doing it!

This is not just a nice idea. It is actually the life to which we are called… the life Jesus has already paid for… the life He actually lived on earth and wants to live through us. It is a life which will display the heart and face of our Papa King to our families, communities and nations... to show the world what He is really like and what He has really provided and how He cares for and gives wisdom and solutions to His children.

A Life of Justice, Character, Beauty & Provision

We are to be the ones who bring the solutions to the world for problems they don't know how to solve... because we get the answers in the secret place from the One who knows all things. The wisdom to live royally on this earth always shows itself in a life of justice, character, beauty and provision. We enforce the justice paid for by Jesus and bring healing and wholeness to our world. We live in the consistency of character of Christ in us, and honour and open the treasure chests in other people. We bring beauty which heals and reflects heaven. And we always have the provision to accomplish every assignment given to us by our King.

Ultimately, royalty is about the transformation of the nations. Only a royal people will walk in the justice, character, beauty and provision needed to see families, communities and nations come into the Kingdom of God. Only a royal people will live from the heavenly places with Christ Jesus and see what He sees and do what He says. Only a royal people will know their authority to administer justice on behalf of their King, walk by faith and do mighty exploits in His Name. Those who will not step into royalty will exclude themselves from being part of His pioneering army of Kings and Priests who will bring heaven to earth.

The Royalty That is Already Yours

This royalty is not something that we have to strive for. It's already who we are when the Royal One lives in us. Yet we will never walk in royalty if we do not understand that royalty is in our blood. Wisdom Himself lives within you. You carry the Royal One inside of you. In fact, the Scripture says that once we have received Jesus Christ in our spirits, we are actually ONE with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of the universe (1 Cor 6:17). How amazing is that?!?! And how much more ‘royal’ can you get?!?! He wants us to lay down our separateness from Him—our ideas of who we are separately to Him—and our own limited agendas, and pick up His oneness with us and His limitless and royal plan for our lives. True humility is believing what God says about us, not what we think about us.

We see such a royal life in the Proverbs 31 woman. Most women I've encountered tend to despise her because when they read about her, they see all of the places in which they 'don't measure up'. But Holy Spirit said to me that The Proverbs 31 woman is not your competition - she is your reality!

If you read it and think 'Both I and my life are inadequate', you are seeing yourself from the flesh, as separate from Him. But if you read it and think, 'Wow, that's who I am and how I can live!', you will be living in the excitement and reality of your spirit man. Your royal man. Royalty is your reality.

The Gift of Disparity

So what do you do when you're willing to believe that you're already royalty and that you've been created to live a royal life... but your life looks so far from that reality that it doesn't even seem remotely possible to live it? The Lord's response is that there is actually a gift He wants to give us in the midst of the disparity - the difference between the promises and what we're currently experiencing. You see, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of Kings to search it out (Prov 25:2). The ones who believe the royalty that is already in their hearts will not discredit the promise, but will instead go to Holy Spirit to seek out the answer. Because in that disparity is the gift of wisdom and strategy that He wants to give us, for with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment (Luke 1:37). He holds your wisdom and strategy to bridge every disparity and He wants to give you that gift today. Live as a King and seek Him for it.

You have been created for royalty, you have been promised it, and the price has been paid for you to live in it. Step into your royal identity today, seek His wisdom and strategy, and begin to live a royal life which causes the world to look at the King within you!
